Rolph van der Hoeven
Rolph van der Hoeven is Professor (Emeritus since 2015) of Employment and Development Economics at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University (EUR) in the Hague, and has worked from 1974 till 2008 in Zambia, Ethiopia, Geneva and New York in different functions for the United Nations, amongst others as Chief Economist at UNICEF, as Director for Policy Coherence at the ILO, and as Scientific Manager at the World Commission on the Social Dimension of Globalization.
He is the (co-)author of more than a dozen books, as well as of numerous articles and book chapters on various aspects of economic and social development. His latest (co-authored) volume is Sustainable Development Goals and Income Inequality.
