Shradha Parashari

Shradha holds an MA in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam. She also holds a Bachelor in Economics Honors from the University of Delhi. In her Master's thesis she did a randomized experiment to evaluate teacher discrimination in marks and occupational expectations of students based on their caste and socioeconomic status in Delhi, India. The thesis supervisors were Professor Arjun Bedi and Professor Matthias Rieger. This thesis was awarded one of the best research papers. She has worked on domestic violence, alcoholism and mental health of women in Delhi, India. Other projects that she has worked on include child labour, evaluation of government scheme for welfare of beneficiary groups, evaluation of information treatment interventions on outcomes of interest (RCT) and proposal making.
