In the context of the project "BNE@RUB", ADAPTED speaker Prof. Wilhelm Löwenstein and RUB-based Early Stage Researchers Muhammad Saleh and Natalia Zakharchenko participated in an interview series on the Sustainable Development Goals. BNE@RUB aims to bundle, network and further develop previous efforts to anchor sustainability in teaching in order to establish Education for Sustainable Development (BNE/ ESD) more broadly at Ruhr-University Bochum. Several departments of the RUB were involved in the interview series giving inputs on all 17 goals.
Wilhelm Löwenstein, Muhammad and Natalia provided insights on the first Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) "No Poverty" from the perspective of poverty reduction and social protection based on research within the ADAPTED Work Packages 1 and 3.
