Elmar Weiler joins ADAPTED in the role of the Independent Ethics Advisor. He is Professor of Plant Physiology and was rector of the Ruhr University Bochum from 2006 to 2015. With his research, he made important contributions to the scientific study of plant growth regulation. Most importantly, he introduced the biochemical immunoassay test to the field of plant research. As the rector of the Ruhr University Bochum, he contributed to enabling outstanding research conditions and received a 'Rector of the Year' Award.
