The local training programme of ADAPTED builds on structured PhD programmes and is supported by established graduate/doctoral schools and at the beneficiary organisations.

The graduate/doctoral schools offer a broad range of transferable skills trainings including formats dealing with good scientific practice and the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity, with gender in social science or the chances and challenges associated with Open Science. In principle, these offers are additive throughout the consortium so that the individual ESR gets automatic access to the two skills training programmes offered by those two universities, which cooperate under each of the 15 agreements. At some places (RUB, EUR) a part of the transferable skills training is digitised and will be made accessible to all ESRs.
