Valentine has performed research assistantship and coordination roles in international organizations including the International Fertilizer Development Center, Gender Concerns International and New Women Connectors. She has acted as a lead environmental impact assessment expert,assistant project manager and researcher at Andy Adams LTD for 2 years. Her experience and interests lie in different social issues including climate change, agricultural issues, food security, environmental degradation and environmental conflicts. Valentine is ardent about transforming research activities and outcomes into actual positive implications for developmental policies and initiatives with the aim of promoting sustainable and just ways of life.  She is a critical and persuasive thinker who is highly organized and whose precise and critical approach to projects has yielded excellent outcomes.
