On 14 March 2023, Luiza Leite de Queiroz (ESR 9) traveled to the University of Cambridge to attend a lecture at the renowned Lauterpacht Centre for International Law. A series of three lectures was given by Prof. Dr. B.S. Chimni, a Distinguished Professor of International Law at Gindal Global Law School. Over three decades he was Professor of International Law at the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. The topic of the three lectures was "Capitalism and the Doctrines of International Law."
The Hersch Lauterpacht Memorial Lecture is an annual three-part lecture series given in Cambridge to commemorate the unique contribution to the development of international law of Sir Hersch Lauterpacht. These lectures are given annually by a person of eminence in the field of international law.
