Kate O'Donnell (ESR 3), Valentine Nandako Masika (ESR 6), Eszter Szedlacsek (ESR 8), Luiza Leite de Queiroz (ESR 9), Natalia Zakharchenko (ESR 11), Irene Among (ESR 12), Ahmed El Assal (ESR 13), Petronilla Wandeto (ESR 14) and Guido Maschhaupt (ESR 15) participated in a workshop on case study research faciliated by Prof. Wil Hout at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), Erasmus University Rotterdam. The workshop was offered for all ESRs who apply qualitative research methods in their research projects and consisted of discussing the individual case study designs and two training sessions. These training sessions were offered by Prof. Markus Haverland, Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, on case selection and Prof. Lasse Gerrits, Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies, who discussed case-based complexity with the workshop participants.
